You start the trail with a short bus ride. You get off at the bus stop, which has the same name as the nearby river. Once there, find your way through Windisch - historical excitement awaits you here on the old legionary trail. The last part of the trail is on the grounds of Königsfelden Monastery. The monastery church is currently being renovated and will remain closed until March 2025. The entry to the castle is included in the ticket price.

Apart from three posts at the beginning, the Foxtrail Vindonissa is identical to the second part of the Foxtrail Vindonissa Maxi. The last stations close at 5 pm.
