1. sculptures by Herbert Distel

The seven cones in different shades of orange are located between the University of Applied Sciences and Zürcherstrasse in Windisch. From 1969, Herbert Distel’s cones were the hallmark of the then new Brugg-Windisch Technical College.

4. 140-year-old garden skittle alley

The 140-year-old listed garden skittle alley in the grounds of the Königsfelden Psychiatric Clinic is one of the oldest in the world. The bowling alley is still used today.

5th Legionary Trail

The Vindonissa Leg ionary Trail was opened in the summer of 2009 and features stations at the excavation sites of the Roman legionary camp of Vindonissa.

6. 700-year-old monastery

Königsfelden Monastery is a former double monastery of the Poor Clares and Franciscans in Windisch. It was founded by the Habsburgs in 1309. The 700-year-old monastery is known throughout Europe for its colourful stained glass windows.

7th Vindonissa Market

Since spring 2018, the Vindonissa Market has been held every one to two months on Saturday mornings from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm in the centre of Windisch.

8th amphitheatre

The Vindonissa amphitheatre in Windisch is the oldest and largest in Switzerland.
