You discover the city’s wonderful neighbourhoods right at the start and then make your way up to the historic Notre-Dame Cathedral. You’ll encounter one unique building after another along the way – from the zoological museum to the world-famous Olympic Museum and the posh Beau Rivage Palace hotel until you reach the lakeside promenade. You walk along Lac Léman with the old boat harbour and enjoy the beautiful Ouchy Park. The trail ends near the central Bessière neighbourhood.

Soletta starts with a short bus ride to the almost 340-year-old Capuchin monastery. The trail continues via Amthausplatz and the city park to the banks of the River Aare. There it follows the Aare until the trail ends near the railway station.
