Foxtrail Cyan – Basel City
Follow Fredy’s trail through two different old towns in Basel: at the beginning, you’ll go right through the city centre – past Aeschenplatz, the city’s most important transport hub. At St. Alban-Tor Park, you first discover the historical side of the city and then follow winding paths and bridges to the banks of the Rhine. From there, Cyan takes you further into Kleinbasel’s old town. Enjoy the panoramic view on the Mittlere Brücke for a moment before diving into the Grossbasel Old Town. The city presents itself at its best here with the artistically painted historic town hall and the Gothic Basel Minster. After a short detour to the amusing Tinguely Fountain, the trail ends at Barfüsserplatz.
Foxtrail Jurapark – Frick
A researcher has disappeared in the Jurapark Aargau. Rumour has it that he was looking for an unknown dinosaur species in the municipality of Frick. Was he the victim of a crime? Follow the trail from the town centre towards the town limits and find the clues. If you solve the puzzles, you will end up on a hill in the countryside. Be careful, you will have to enter the dark, damp underworld of Frick to solve the puzzle. The start and finish are approx. 2km (30min walk) apart, no public transport connection back to the start.
Foxtrail Purple – Basel City
Purple takes you through the narrow streets of Basel: after starting the trail at the university, you head into the old town and past impressive houses. Hidden passages then take you to the impressive Gothic Basel Minster with its famous towers. You then walk to the art museum on St Alban-Graben, and it won’t be long before you reach your destination. Tech fans in particular will get their money’s worth on this trail.
Foxtrail Soletta – Solothurn
Soletta starts with a short bus ride to the almost 340-year-old Capuchin monastery. The trail continues via Amthausplatz and the city park to the banks of the River Aare. There it follows the Aare until the trail ends near the railway station.
Foxtrail Soleure – Solothurn
The Soleure trail leads from the railway station across the water into the old town of Solothurn – the most beautiful baroque town in Switzerland. Romantic alleyways, old cobblestones and a magnificent cathedral await you there.
Foxtrail Yellow – Basel City
Experience the Rhine and the old town of Basel in one trail! Yellow starts in the busy part of the city and continues into the residential neighbourhood of Birsfelden. You arrive at the Rhine, where an impressive power station awaits you. The unique view of the city is included here! Fredy’s trail then takes you over the famous Mittlere Brücke bridge and into the old town of Grossbasel. Across the market square and past the artistically painted historic town hall – can you find your way through the labyrinth? A long flight of stairs will finally take you to Barfüsserplatz.
