Foxtrail Schatz Maxi - Thun
Description
The Choleren Gorge at the beginning of the trail is an enchanted water world above the city of Thun. You hike along the gorge through the forest until you reach the picturesque village of Hünibach. Then you follow the trail to Hilterfingen, the village on the riviera of Lake Thun. You go to the ship's quay and along the village stream through a pretty quarter. The real treasure of the trail follows in Hünegg Park: a fairytale atmosphere surrounds the magnificent Hünegg Castle. Then you return to Thun, where you explore the Schlossberg and the city church. Afterwards, you will walk along the beautiful church steps past the historic pavilion into the old town, where you can admire the lock bridge shortly before the finish.
Hiking boots would be an advantage. The second part corresponds to the trail Schatz.
